For the facilitator of this presentation

As a facilitator and educator myself, I understand the stresses there can be when having to facilitate a group learning session.  So below are some helpful hints to ensure this presentation run smoothly without and technological holdups or worries.

1.       On the Definition of Active Learning page, there will be a You Tube link.
  • Have this already open, preloaded and buffered before starting your presentation
  • Also ensure that you’ve already checked that the volume and sound is on, working and at the right volume

2.       On the Key considerations when using Active Learning page, there will be a link to a 6 page PowerPoint presentation
  • When you click on this hyper link, you will be directed to a Scibd.com page, where it will show all of the slides
  • On the top left handside of the screen will be a large orange 'DOWNLOAD' button, click this.
  • open up the file as a pptx - click the blue 'DOWNLOAD' button
  • this will direct you to opening up a powerpoint presentation - 6 slides

3.       On the Handout Resources page, there will be two pictures.
  • Please print one picture per page, to create a two page handout document
  • Have these already printed out ready for your audience
  • Have spares printed also, encase extras are needed
