Basic Active Learning strategies

Student engagement in individual or small group activities (pairs /three’s) is known as a low risk strategy that ensures that participation is achieved from all.  Below is a sample of basic activities which encourages active learning, that can be modified to almost any discussion or student’s needs.  By using these strategies, or variations of them, ensures that you hold your students attention in class throughout your lessons.
