Introduction

Good morning/ afternoon,

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Candice Lines (s2717819), and I am a soon to be graduate of Griffith University, graduating with a Bachelor of Education Primary/ Bachelor of Human Services: specialising in child and family studies. 
I welcome you to my interactive blog on the strategic teaching approach of Active Learning.
 
This educative blog is created during my university course 4090EDN – Developing Curriculum Early Learning Childhood Education.   

As all teachers know, curriculum, assessment and pedagogy is key to planning for teaching in early childhood education contexts.  Our assignment focuses on the pedagogy component which is defined as the principles, practice and profession of teaching, or the study of teaching methods. 

The objective of this interactive blog is to generate awareness and provide readers with a deeper understanding through my investigation of what the strategic teaching approach Active Learning entails.
