How a teacher impliments Active Learning into their classroom

The role of the teacher in a active learning classroom is to create an active and participatory environment.  This is a shift from teacher-centred to a learner-centred approach to learning and teaching.  Within this change, there is also a shift to process driven learning from product driven learning.

These changes encourage educators to critically reflect not only on the key principles of teaching and learning, but also on their roles in the process.
